It been about a month since my surgery, had my first fill last week and ive only lost 5 lbs. havent had the nerve to get on the weights but i think i gain a pound or two from the likes of my eating. i dont have enough restirction i think. its only been 1 week since my fill and im eatting im hungry urgh. feel sooo frustrated, i ask myself if im doing something wrong maybe i exspected to much from the band. im not losing as much as others. i was looking forward to reporting to everyone how much is coming off but nope. its not happening. anyone know what im talking about? :confused2:

Remember, too, that the band is only a tool. Watch your calories, eat healthier (not just less), move around, and don't rely on the restriction to do it *all* for you. Easier said than done for some, I know, but recognizing what you should eat versus what you can eat will help you moving forward.

Know your portion sizes; waiting until you feel full is too late... Depending on how fast you eat, even feeling satisfied can be too late.

You can do this.

I'm there with you guys. But I got my 2nd fill today--and much to my surprise I was down 12 lbs. since my first one. But I was feeling like such a failure before because I knew I was eating too much and stuff I shouldn't have. But I'm just going to press on till I get to the sweet spot.
