hey well my paper s on the way to insurance compnay in michigan ,they have to be mailed in bcbs says.any does anyon e know how long a wait it is to find out?my drs office says they is slow usualyyh 30 days omg hope not so long i really want to be bannded in august@@@ lmk anyone else knowim just hoping im aprrove i have 50 bmibuch other problems:tongue:

Hello. I have BCBS of michigian & I can tell you now.. they are slow! they kept telling me they have 30 days to decide approval but it took them 45 days!!! I called at least 2 times a week just to let them know how woresome i can be:tongue: then i got the bariatric coordinater to call & it still took them another week! I finally just gave up waiting, prayed about it & took it to the alter & then come that monday, i got a phone call. I was approved!:thumbup: I was so happy i did a little dance!! So all i can say is, hang in there and keep calling them being woresome:sneaky: Good luck!!!

Hi! I have BCBS of Michigan Trelleborg Corporation. My info was submitted on June 27, 2008 and I've been calling about twice a week. I spoke with the ins. co. this past week and they told me that they do not require pre-authorization or pre- certification(PRE-APPROVAL). They (the ins. co.) said that my doctor would receive a letter stating the criteria but not an approval letter. She said that would be determined after the ins claim is filed. I'm so :tt2:. I am also very:angry:.
