You can get the Citrical Creamy bites it's calcium citrate so it's the kind of calcium at the body can easily absorb.

I was told by my dietitian to dissolve the 2 pills in a very small amount of water or crystal light and drink the liquid. You do not have to consume the sediment. This is just a suggestion.....

I use chewable caramel or chocolate calcium. I think it is Viactive. You can get it at Walmart. Another great calcium product is Adora Calcium. You can get it in milk chocolate or dark chocolate. I ordered it online and it is expensive--but really good.

Citrical also makes calcium pills that are called petites. They are much smaller. Citrical is calcium citrate rather than calcium carbonate. Calcium

citrate is better because your body absorbs it better. Viative chews

are calcium carbonate.

You can also get liquid calcium citrate. I've got a bottle I bought at Whole Foods, but I haven't actually tried it yet. I've been eating so much pudding and yogurt that I think I'm ok for now.

I can swallow the petites much better. You just have to take more of them to get the same dose, so I take them morning AND evening. My surgeon ONLY recommends calcium citrate, and I couldn't find that in a chewable.
