Pain in left thigh

After my lapband removal surgery, I have experienced a sharp burning pain on the outside of my left thigh. It is very painful. I was lying on my back in bed and the pain started. I take 2 tylenol for artiritis every 8 hours. They do provide some relief but. pain comes back. Has anyone else experienced this type of pain?

Angel, thanks still having pain. X-rays showed arthritis in hip and thigh. Doc. gave me some meds. He is going to refer me to an orthopedic specalist if pain continues.

I get the same problem in my right thigh. Had surgery last friday. Getting burning and topical numbness. I think there is a nerve problem here. I will follow up with the doc next week. It has nothing to do with arthritus though.
