July 10, 200818 yr I have had two fills so far and after each fill, during the two days liquid, I feel very sick. Once I am able to eat, I feel fine. I didn't have this problem before I started getting fills. Is there any way to remedy this?
July 10, 200818 yr I get my fills in the afternoon and my doctor lets me go back to solids with breakfast the next day. maybe you can ask your doctor if you can eat lightly instead of liquids. Pureed foods for example.
July 10, 200818 yr what kind of fluids are you drinking? perhaps it is low blood sugar that is making you feel unwell? Thats my immediate thought given you feel better once you eat.
July 10, 200818 yr Author I was told I could drink anything liquid so I pretty much drink water, decaf coffee, iced tea, and milk.
July 10, 200818 yr There is not alot of nutrition in those. i am much the same, i tend to go to what is easy after a fill and feel pretty rotten, but i try to get in some Optifast or even some kind of fruit smoothies ... something like that. Of course you have to do what your surgeon says, however looking at that list i would guess the sickness is coming from lack of nutrition during that time. Our ketones increase ... which is an awesome sign of fat burning ... however elevated ketones can make us feel sick!!
