I started my pre-op diet this past Sat. and my surgery is 7/17. My first day was the worst. I just stay busy and out of the kitchen. I still get a little hungry, but find that the protein in the shakes keeps me from getting the initial diet "shakes" that I've gotten in the past. Good luck!!! Nancy B.

    I am on pre liquid diet (optifast) since 1 of July. The first two days were horrible. I had a bad headache and felt not really well.

    My tips:

    Stay away from carbs and drink plenty of Water.

    A cup of (herbal) tea helps me when I am hungry in between.
