Sore

SO I WAS BANDED JUNE 17 AND ALL IS PRETTY WELL EXCEPT I WENT FOR A GOOD HARD WALK LAST NIGHT AND WHEN I WENT TO BED I FELT SORE IN THE RIBS AND CRAMPING LIKE I WAS KICKED IN THE RIBS. WHERE THE PORT IS IS REALLY SORE TO WHEN BENDING UP AND DOWN . SOME DAYS ARE FINE THEN OTHERS ARE LIKE OUCH DAMMIT. I AM EATING MUSHIES FOR ONE MORE WEEK AND FEEL I CAN EAT PROBALY MORE THAN I SHOULD BUT I HAVE NO RESTRICTION. IS ANYONE ELSE STILL SORE AND IN THE PORT AREA?:biggrin:

That's normal, and the pain under your ribs could either be just from walking too much or could be gas pains leftover from the surgery.

I was banded on June 30th and only feel sore in the area where my port it. That area is more tender, not do to infection, but because I seem to bump it more often or the seat belt strap just rubs against it more often. Under my port incision there a slight firmness about the size of a 50 cent piece. The surgeon said this is normal due to healing and should go away. When I sit for awhile or walk a bunch, it makes me like I am pregnant with a baby kicking me in the rib.
