Did you have general anesthesia?

Or did any of you have conscious sedation or a spinal block? I see my surgeon's PA 7/15 and I would like to use either for the surgery but I'm not sure that's acceptable.

It was general for me, no options. I wouldn't want to be able to hear or see what was going on and you would with a spinal.......

my doc said you need to use general because where they place the lap band is so close to the heart and do to the fact they fill your stomach up with gas and this is very uncomfortable they dont want to take a chance on you moving at all durning the surgery
