First Ride!

I went for my first ride since being banded and did it feel great! Living in MI the riding season is short and it sure was hard to give up 3 weeks of riding.

Mich is so hard to ride your bike in.

Glad you enjoyed it

Where in Mich are you from I am in the Greenville area

Oreo ~ Currently I'm in Jerome(Hillsdale County) for the summer. I have no clue where Greenville is. Yes Michigan is hard to drive in. My home is in the Detroit burbs which is no fun riding in all that traffic. Nice to be in the country for the Summer, except instead of dodging cars I'm dodging deer!

I'm new to this, haven't even had my first fill yet. But I do know everyones weight loss is different. And on average with the band you are to loose 1-2 pounds a week, so if you do the math 20 pounds is right there. I would suggest you discuss with your nutrionist what you are eating to make sure you are getting in the right amounts of protein, calories, etc. Good luck.
