Question: Can you eat pureed chili for the puree diet? I was just wondering bc I feel like the ground beef wouldn't completley puree....or would it? I don't have much experience pureeing things! I start puree in a couple of days....

thanks

I was told that chili was a nono during healing because it would be too much Fiber, which we were supposed to try to avoid.

I made some chili with out the ground beef... I just started with the onion and the garlic and sauteed it and then added some beef boulion (sp) and the puree tomato and chili spices... (full liquid stage)

added black Beans for the puree/mushy stage

I was told absolutley NO red meat

I had permission from the dr. office for this... they actually have told me to relaxe cause I have not put anything in my mouth they have not approved

I gave it a whirl in the blender and was good to go

It was wonderfull... so much flavor!!!
