I was wondering if anyones surgeons required the 6-month diet. . .or if that was an insurance company requirement?

In my case, it's the insurance company that requires it, not the surgeon.

My insurance required mine.

My insurance company required mine...but my surgeon suggested it.

My insurance company required the 6 month supervised diet and I had to show "signifigant" weight loss.
