Self Pay/loans?

Hello All,

I am working on getting funds for self pay. Other than using a credit card if possible!

Could anyone recommed a company that does Medical/patient loans?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Sincerely,

Pamela.

I ended up borrowing my Tax Shelter Annuity money that I was saving for retirement. I pay it back monthly at a lower rate than a traditional loan would have been. I finally decided that I had to do it otherwise I may not be around to use the retirement money. Do you have anything like that through your work?

I used Advanced Patient Financing online for part of my cost, a signature loan for part and some of our cash on hand. The online loan has a pretty high interest at 18% but that might be cheaper than some credit cards. Toll Free number:(800) 504-4053. I just researched for weight loss surgery loans, then compared interest and availability. Good Luck

This is the company I used to finance 2000.00 of my surgery. I was a self pay and was short 2000, my payments were 127.00 for 18 months I paid it off this month 5 months early there was no penalty to pay it off.

I was fortunate enough that my doctor was a participant with this company. I do not know what doctor you are using but it is worth checking it out. I hope this helps :)

I paid cash cause mine came about so quickly but when we returned home I had a approval letter from this company and they had 90 days same as cash-very cool!!

I cleared out my Simple IRA and am still financing part through a home equity loan. Since it's for medical I won't have to pay the 10% penalty, income tax only and the home equity loans interest is also tax deductable. So there is a little silver lining in there somewhere.
