Protein Drinks

I was notified today by my surgeon that they had a cancelation and can fit me in for surgery on 7/8. I am soooooo excited (and a little nervous). BUT I need to start my pre-op diet on Saturday and I have not purchased any Protein drink products. The dietician gave me 3 samples of powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury. I tried the vanilla and it was okay, but I haven't tried the others because I was thinking I had another month before surgery.

Does anyone have any recommendations for others products that you liked and your surgeon approved?

Thanks!

My nutrionist told me about Revial and they are Awesome.. I love the banana shakes and the strawberry banana are good too.. check out the website

My surgeon sells ISOPURE WHEY Protein Shake. I have forund this to be on of the best! I love the Chocolate and I also like the Vanilla. You can pick it up at the Vitamin Shoppe. Good Luck, It also comes in other flavors like punch, cookies and cream. Haven't tried them yet!

My doctor put me on Carnation Instant Breakfast Protien drinks. Some grocery stores carry the already mixed bottles. I prefer them over what you mix with milk.

During the pre-op and post-op diet I drank 4 or 5 a day. They are packed with Vitamins and minerals along with your protien.

I still drink one most days because I like them and they give me a full feeling. But I do not rely on them to give me my protien count for the day.
