This question may have been answered, but I can't find it on the forum. Has anyone had a mamogram since their surgery. I was wondering if there was more discomfort than usual with the band?

no more than the normal squishing / squeezing that goes w/the territory.:sad_smile:

i had my first mamogram & sonogram last wk since being banded and there was nothing out of the ordinary. band had zero impact.

Thanks, I was just banded on June 2 and am a little overdue for my mammogram and was afraid of what it might feel like.

I was banded in Dec. of 06 and had my well woman check up that Feb including the mammo thing...I agree ....just the normal discomfort.
