Periods too Frequent

I can't believe I am asking this but I stared getting my period 1 month after surgery and was so happy, now not so. I am getting it like clockwork every 17 days!!! eek.gif It lasts aroung 5 to 7 days so you can imagine I am not a happy camper. I go to the Dr next week to discuss this but I was wondering if this has happened to anyone. I went through tons of fertility procedures IUI, IVF alternative medicine everything but nothing worked. I have come to terms with it and if it happens it happens (we are thinking about adoption but not for several years).

A similar thing happened to me. I would get my period every 2 weeks. 14 days on/ 14 days off. Miserable...

I went to my ob/gyn and he just said "that's pcos" and I told him that not for me, bc I normally never got it. He was hoping that I would start to ovulate...but no dice.

I just started taking birth control, which usually helps me lose weight bc it regulates my hormones. I am hoping to have our first round of IVF this coming fall.
