I am 1 week into my two week preop diet and I just realized that the slim fast that I was drinking was the wrong one. I was drinking the optima. Is this going to effect my surgery? Help.

I was told to drink the slim fast optima. Supposedly it has less sugar. Definitely check with your doctor!

I don't know about the SlimFast but I am curious how much weight you have lost. I am stressing out because I have only lost 2.5 lbs in 9 days and surgery is on Wednesday. I was told I needed to lose five by then or it would be canceled. :redface:

I haven't lost much either. Maybe three pounds. That is why I started looking at the slimfast. I was hungry all the time so I so I started reading back over my literature and found out I was not drinking the right thing. I wish you luck. There was no set weight loss for us to lose before the surgery. We just had to shrink the liver by the two week fast. Have you stuck with it?
