I have BCBS of MN and after a year long diet I have finally been approved!!! I'm so excited!

I meet with Dr. Eibes on June 26th to pick a surgery date (his nurse indicated that they are scheduling surgeries 3 1/2 weeks out). I have a two week vacation in July so I don't want to start the pre-surgery diet on vacation and I can't miss any more work in July so I'm hoping for an Aug 5th date :redface:

I plan on posting when I get the date!!!

Congrats on getting aproved. Dr Eibes is the doctor that did my surgery in March. That office has been great to work with. I have only had one time that I felt a bit put off and that was with the nutritionist.

Can I ask a question...the dieting you have to do prior to insurance approval...what happens if you lose the weight and keep it off? I have dieted and had some success at weight loss, but always gain it back. So how do they look at that.
