My name is Deanna, and I am looking for a bandster mentor! I just received my banding date (July 11th) and still have weight to loose before I go under! I was hoping someone has knowledge and kind words they'd like to share with me along my journey!

Maine is a beautiful state - I was up their for the lobster and blueberries. I was banded on June 4th. Will have my first fill about the time you have the surgery. If there is anything I can help with, just drop me a line. I had an excellent bariatric group that provided so much support through the surgery and post op. I heard from nutritionists, psychologists, nurses, etc. There is not much to the surgery, the diet is the thing and the Protein.

I am from MA also. I got banded in March of this year. If you like to chat I am open to it. I had my surgery done in Providence RI. I love the band now and would not have second thoughts if I had to do it all over again.

Hey all, I am from MA as well. i am about 20 min north of boston and was banded in January of 2008.
