I finally got a clue from surgeon's staff and bought the unjury mix... thank goodness... no aftertaste;

it just dawned on me to mix it with milk rather than Water (package says 6-8 oz of either, however 8 oz water is too much and 6 is pretty good; will try it at 4-5 in the morning, and it in power blender with ice

Blending the protein drinks in the blender with ice makes it so much better. You feel like you are getting a lot too. Popscicles and Jello will also help you feel like you are eating something. I've been on Clear Liquids for a week, and have lsot 7.5 pounds. It is hard but it gets easier. After day 4I had enough energy to exercise and work.

I treasure my two daily yogurts and get by on lots of Jello. What has saved me is broth-sometimes, you need something hot! Get a vcariety pack of Protein shakes to keep it fresh. COnsider picking up some chicken broth at a Chinese or Vietnamese restaurant for a "treat."
