Has anyone thought of a name for us August girlies? (and maybe guysies!) I am hoping to have my surgery this summer, so I'd love to start thinking of something cute if you haven't already!

OK guys, we have to come up with a name......I was able to come up with Jazzy Junes (I was once a potential June bandster) but for August......I got nothing! Any Suggestions?

how bout the one i came up with before any of yall joined this board lol its in my signature already, I have 2 designs made up already.

I just think that everyone should have a chance for some imput. Especially since we are starting to get more people to join the board. If it was sept. I'd say, of course I'll go with what the group has already choses. but since it is july, I think anyone who wants to suggest a name should.

Can we set a date for suggestions and then set up a pole? It can end say, Aug. 1, and whatever has the most votes wins? What does everyone think??

By the way, when you say 5 little monkeys, do you mean children or are they real monkeys? I only ask because when I was a kid my Dad had a real monkey......it was cool!

It's my five kiddos! They are climbers, jumpers, etc....they so remind me of the 5 monkeys jumping on the bed!!:thumbup:

I love your banner! You are very talented and your signature is neat too. I find out my surgery date Thursday. It will be the last of July or the first part of August. I have subscribed to this thread in case it is the latter.

MomTo5, an end date of Aug 1 may be too long. The July Butterflies were using their banner at the end of June and sending well wishes to all who had subscribed on the date of their surgery in July using their banner. Maybe an end date of July 23 and a banner up by the 25th?

P.S. I really like August Slimmers and the banner.

Can I put in my 2 cents and suggest August Trimmers? I figured that with the measuring tape we can kind of capture the idea of trimming things.

I like the idea of a vote. I don't have any suggestions for names I'm just really excited to be part of the August group. Tonni I have 4 kids and I would really like to be a hottie again! :redface:

I might be having surgery in August and I had fun playing with names. What about something like the the Triple AAAs-The August Affirmative Action or the August Absolute Achievers...some kind of play on the Triple AAA theme.

Or I also thought about the August Aces, August Over-Achievers, August Adventurers, etc....ok, I have too much time on my hands. :biggrin2:
