Would love a mentor

If anyone is available, I'd love to have a lap-band mentor. I was just recently banded on June 2, 2008 and would love to talk to someone else who has been through this.

Thanks!

Meg

HI meg,

I was banded on March 19th and have had 2 fills since. I am still learning after the 2nd fill what my band will allow me to eat. Good luck on your weight loss journey and if I can help you in any way i will.

I was banded 5 years ago and have lost 65kg (143lb). This was the best thing i have done and would recommend this to anyone. The key is to know your limits. I eat off a entree size plate, limit my food and i do eat morning tea and afternoon.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask me. i was never lucky enough to have people to bounce questions off.:crying:

I hadd the procedure at the same time as 2 other people. One has had the band removed and the other lost only a small smount of weight. Everyone is different and you need to do what is best for you.

Hi Meg.

I'm in Columbus. I'll be happy to help you out, coach/mentor you as you move forward.

Hit me up with some specific questions and concerns you have. Tell me your plans for getting the weight off. What goals have you set for youself?

Hope to hear from you.

Juli
