I have one week down on the pre-op diet. I'm to have 1 protein shake for breakfast, 1 for lunch and then a diet frozen meal for dinner. While during the week I did fine, but being home where the food is, I'm grabbing snacks from time to time. I don't like the frozen diet dinners so I've been eating a salad with grilled chicken for dinner. I have only lost a couple of pounds. How much weight does the doctor need for you to loose before he can do surgery? I had my gallbladder out 2 years ago so I think that will free up some room in there too. This is very hard not eating when everyone else is. Did anyone else struggle with the pre-op liquid diet? If so how did you get over the cravings to eat something? The protein shakes fill me up for the most part, but I need to be able to chew something up and swallow it..:incazzato:
