On the new road!

I am offically a member of the bandsters! :(

I am so glad to be on the other side.

I had surgery on the 6th at 10:30 and was home by 5:00.

It was pretty uneventful!

I am doing good, just the port pain and gas between the shoulders. :(

I am walking about every 30 minutes and not taking the pain meds. They gave me Lortab and it has codine in it:huh2: (I told them it made me sick) so I decided I would just go with liquid Tylenol and it works fine. :Dancing_wub:

I am sipping every 30 minutes or so and had about 3 oz of protien bullet.

I have a little sf jello and hot tea to fill in.

Congrats to all you others that are banded and can't wait to hear from all of you!

I'm so glad you let us know that you are done and fine! I hope your pain and gas diminish soon!

Woo Hoo! Lortabs! Codeine makes me goofy...love it!

Hi! I was bended on June 6th and arrived home this morning. I feel okay just sore as heck on the surgical area. I'm walking a lot too and trying to limit the pain meds cause it just makes me sleepy. Best wishes to you!

Maria:

I got the Protein bullets at GNC they are called New whey

come in several flavors and 0 sugar and 0 fat but 42 grams of protein.

I am kinda sore and gassy tonight. Not talking pain meds, and doing ok. Just very tired. Hope to feel better tomorrow.:)

Cathy,

So glad to hear you are doing well, you have really been upbeat and encouraging to your fellow Jazzy Junes! I know I have really appreciated it. Now, do you think you could just come hold my hand in the OR on Monday?:) I can't wait to be on the loser bench with you!
