How Long Did/Will Your Surgery Take?

I'm just curious how long you will be in surgery or were in surgery if you've already had plastic surgery.

I'm having a lower body lift and a medial thigh lift with two surgeons working on me and they anticipate it taking about 6 hours.

I am having an extended TT with vertcal incision and she estimated mine to be 6 hours as well. Only one surgeon though...I am not as special!

Well, as you know Becky I haven't had my surgery yet, (I'll be just one day behind you girlfriend ) so this is my best guess.

When I was talking about doing my LBL all at once, my Dr. told me that it would take 4-6 hours, with just him alone and no medial thigh lift -- so your Dr.'s estimate sounds pretty much in line with the info I got.

I have no idea how long my surgery will take now with the new game plan, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that it won't take as long as it took to get the two Dr.'s schedules together !

I only had the tummy tuck with muscle repair and it took about 3 hours. I was in the OR around 7:30 and in my room around 11am.

extended TT, muscle repair (progressive tension sutures), lipo to back (big mistake - hurt the worst and i see minimal improvement), mons lift ... took about 4 hours

Why is mine taking 6 hours....Stomping feet and throwing temper tantrum. I am realllllly hoping she overestimated and I can get back some of the money from the anesthesiologist.

Karri,

dont hold your breath ... they start the anesthesiologist fee the moment they walk in the hospital ... i paid for i think 5 hours to her ...
