June 11!

It's a Wham-Bam-Thank You-Ma'am kind of process now!

I did my 2nd pre-op appt with Dr. Balette today. We set the date for June 11. I went ahead and did all of my preregistration for the surgery - pre-admissions, bloodwork, chest xray, ekg.

Now, it's time for get ready for surgery and lots of life changes!

That is also my big day!! Talk about Wham Bam, I finally (ive been thinking about doing the surgery for 2 years) attended a seminar last Saturday (5/17), made my diagnostic appt on Monday (5/19) And, since I am self pay, was able to schedule my date for June 11. I left the docs office and started my pre-op diet then. In this week I have already lost 7lbs.

I am so excited and hopeful. I know its going to be a long, challenging journey but for the first time in a long time I feel alive!!:crying:
