Thanks, Carmen - that helps A LOT. Yes, I have Dr. Engstrand. My appt with the dietician is this Thursday.... which means full liquids from then until the 28th - two days from surgery. I don't think I'll have a problem with that; I'm so eager to do this right and I'm really psyched up for it. Trying really hard to look down the road to one year from now as opposed to just the next few weeks. Do you have a date yet?

Lulu - no I don't have a date as of yet. I have gone through everything and all the info has been submitted to my insurance company and now I am just waiting for the pre-approval. I know I will get it but just the waiting is the hard part. I was trying to get it done before the end of this month but I don't think that will happen anymore. But that's ok - November will be just fine. I will have a NEW meaning for Thanksgiving!!!! I will keep you posted though! Good luck and definately let us know how everything went!!!! Congratulations!!! :banana

Hello fellow Wisconsin friends!

I am about 4 1/2 weeks post op, had my surgery in Stevens Point with Dr Selwyn, he was great. I am doing well so far, down about 24 lbs, after about a 2 week stall, getting a fill next week so am excited to see if that improves my hungry, usually I keep it in check LOL Looking forward to hearing from some other people in Wisconsin, I go to the local support group in Stevens Point.
