Anyone on here scheduled for surgery with Dr. Aceves down in Mexicali, Mexico later this month? I am, and I'm going down on my own so I'm looking for anyone else out there for support. I went by myself to Mexico and had my band done on 4/14. The experience was great. I was up and walking 30 min after I woke up from surgery. I flew home the next day for 4 hours, rode in a car for 2 hrs and worked part of the day the next day. I have lost 15 lbs since surgery and expect to go back to Tijuana in a week or 2 for my first fill.

I had Dr. Francisco Gonzalez and was very pleased with all the staff there. Much better care than my daughter had when she broke her ankle and was in the hospital here in the states. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I will be happy to answer any of your questions that I can.

Dr. Aceves and his group is great. I was banded 2 1/2 years ago and have never regretted it. They will treat you well and when you have quetions ask...
