Can you stretch out your pouch or stomach?

I was just wondering if you ever have to unfil your band for some reason, like pregnancy or a sickness, and you start eating a lot, can you stretch out your pouch like gastric bypass patients and then start gaining lots of weight again? Or do you just get a fill after you're feeling better and start loosing weight again?

You can stretch your pouch without being unfilled. Eating too much or carbonated drinks can stretch the pouch. Getting unfilled and a liquid diet for a week or so are what I've heard doc's do if you stretch your pouch. If you get completely unfilled you will have very little or no restriction and stretching pouch is probably less likely because food will flow through the band easier.
