cold drinks and mucus

Okay, sorry to be gross...

but, I had my third fill yesterday and went out this afternoon for happy hour with the girls. I had a large glass of cranberry juice - ice cold. After a while I suddenly had this disgusting mouthful of semi-hard mucous come up from the top of my esophagus. Is this normal? I've slimed and foamed on stuff before but the consistency of this stuff was gross.

Once again, I'm sorry if this grosses anyone out, but I'm not sure if this is normal.

:mellow:That was an interesting reply.

I think it was from my throat, not even the pouch or stomach. No, I hadn't eaten anything before this for three hours. (I did have soup at that meal, though.) Maybe it was from my pouch? This is all so gross!:)

Ewww! LOL. Never happened to me, but I suppose it's possible -- I've coughed up mucus before when I've had a cold.

I avoid ice cold drinks these days -- they tighten my band way down.
