Alright, for those who weren't crazy about May Flowers or who just, like me, absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE whoever came up with "Shrinko de Mayo", I wanted to come up with a logo for us. Anyone have any ideas? I'm going to work on it today and see what I can come up with but would love some ideas from you other talented folks!

It was actually my Brother who came up with SHRINKO de Mayo -- at our house we're always looking for a reason to celebrate!!

He was banded in July of 2006. So far he's lost over 220 pounds. I'm incredibly proud of him. I know it shouldn't be a competition -- but what's a little HEALTHY competition between bandster siblings??

I love Shrinko de Mayo!!!!! That is the best name I have heard for any month!

Hey, I am a southern missy too, a Texas Missy. All the missy version that I could think of were taken so I went for meliss, which I go by also.

Just read the "May Flowers" is the offical name. I am sooooo much more a Shrinko-de-Mayo than a flower! haha!

Lexy, that is sooo... cute! I haven't had a chance to work on anything because I have been doing my real JOB work all weekend! I think we need a sombrero with a flower on it, though, to tie us all together!

miss meliss...welcome to the group! Don't feel bad about 3 in a row, heck, next time do 4 or 5! We don't mind!! There are some others who also didn't feel like May Flowers was a good representation of them... I think it would be okay to have 2 group names and fully intend on using the Shrinko de Mayo -- it is just TOO CUTE not to!! Lexy has come up with an awesome logo. I am planning on working on something but I'm not sure I can come up with anything cuter than that! We'll see... :wink2:

I've decided that whether you are a May Flower or a Shrinko de Mayo, it is just great to be able to go on-line and meet new friends who are in the same boat as I am!!!

As far as adding the logo to my signature, I have no idea how my husband did it!!!! All I know is that somehow he copied the image and then pasted it into the signature area. Good luck! :frown:
