Anyone Know?

I have been having pain in my left side (this is day 2). It's like when you walk or run alot and you get a catch. When I sit up straight it pulls. It is so sore, was wondering if anyone knew what the heck it is. I'm eating fine, and plumbing works, just constant "catch" in my left side. Really bothering me. Thanks in advance.

I am 2nd day post op as well. I think it is gas. I am having the same 'stitch' on my left side. I just took some gasex and am hoping that will help. Otherwise, I am feeling pretty good. :w00t:

Yep, left side, particularly the shoulder area seems to be a biggie. They say it's from the gas but damn does it hurt. Mine would be in the shoulder, near my port (left side waist area) and in the middle back on the left side. It seemed to take a couple weeks to go away but I wasn't able to rest the way I should. Try walking a bit, it seemed to help me.

Yeah that gas pain was bad. I am a little over 3 weeks post op and may have tried too much exercise too soon. I walk 3 miles almost everyday, and have even jogged a little. Maybe I just strained my muscles there, i dunno but it sure hurts. Gonna call doc monday i guess.
