Anxiety attack!!!!

Help!!! I am getting so nervous about being able to do all of this....I am a grazer of sorts. Doing much better with the help of U-Mass, but food does still call my name. Most days I am in control. I have never been a large amount of food eater, more a slow drip sort of eater. Every day I want to try just a liquid diet of sorts so as to prepare but am unable to stay with it or even begin. Am I a failure or what? I have been able to lose 14 pounds recently and would like to lose 20 more before banding in June(hopefully). I guess I am asking all you grazers if the band has helped you.

Oh, Hopefull, my soon to be avatar buddy when I get my pretty wreath back after banding, don't have an anxiety attack! Grazing will become MUCH easier to avoid when you are on full solids and eating your hard proteins first with your meals. Post Banding is a whole new world...this is good and bad, and we need to do lots of preparing but nothing will prepare us like actually living it. You will be a great success! You will have weeks of liquid diet post banding, and possibly just before your band surgery, so definatley dont' sweat it now. Eat well, choose better, the changes will come soon enough. You can do this! With or without the ability to follow a liquid diet before you ever even HAVE to.

Hopeful, I wish I could help you, but the Band is only a tool that will restrict the feeling of being full. I'm struggling, too. All I can say is "Today is a New Day" and we can do something one day at a time. Just get through today, that's all you gotta do.
