Couldn't get the dogsitter for May 20--so I changed the date to May 13!!

I only had 7 days pre op but 2 of those where Clear liquids cuz I had a colonoscopy on 7/13 and then the day before surgery was clear liquids only.

I didn't like the opitfast - I was suppose to do oatmeal, shake, Soup and 2 bars - they only had tomatoe soup when I went (my doc provides the preop diet) it was AWFUL - - I called and asked can I have a small piece of fish and salad for dinner - and they said yes. I would have NEVER made a week on that awful soup for dinner.. - so I did do oatmeal - shake - small high Protein dinner and the snack bars that were actually pretty good.

:wink_smile:A co-worker is having the surgery as well and our husbands have been questioning our mood during the pre/post op liquid diets. I've told them it's probably best just to stay away. Fellow employees I've told, for their own safety, I'm keeping my office door locked. :biggrin2:
