Heartburn and bad back pain

I had lapband 6 months ago. Ever since then, I have had No acid reflux, no heart burn.

All of a sudden, 2 days ago I have terrible heartburn and right now, my back is in so much pain.

Does anyone know what could be the cause of this???

Thanks,

Teresa

Since I had never experienced this before from the beginning of my surgery, I was wondering if other lapbanders get heartburn.

yes i get it all the time....im off to see my doc tomorrow as i have had enough now.....have u recently had a fill?

Hi Theresa:

You should call your doctor. I recently had my gallbladder removed. One of the symptoms I had was a bad back ache. However, I didn't have heartburn.

One thing mentioned at support group is that some people's bands are getting to be tight because of post nasal drip here in New England because it's spring/hayfever season.

Hope you figure it out. Please let us know and of course, I hope you feel better soon.

Take care.

Sue
