Approval

Could you just give me an average on how long you all had to wait for approval from your insurance company after your initial meeting with the surgeon. Just wanted to get a general idea. In regards to such things as work, time-off, vacations schedules at work and so on.

UHC was my carrier and I got a verbal answer over the phone (I kept calling) about two weeks later. It was at least another week before I had the letter in hand.

Good Luck!

It took 2 weeks I called on that Friday to follow up and they confirmed I was approved.
