I have had 3 fills since my surgery and I have never been to the point where I can eat 4 ounces of food and be completely full. I usually can consume about 5 ounces of food and within 3 hours I am hungry or at least want something to nibble on like cheese or a piece of fruit. I think that when my Doctor gives me my fills that they don't allow me to get a good fill. I know that they monitor to see if I swallow all of the liquid so I believe that I am not swallowing properly as I am unable to gulp any beverage (barium water or anything). They tell you not to gulp but then when I get the fill they want me to gulp and so the drink stays in my throat for a few seconds which is making them think that I am tight but I never really am because I end up hungry. Do you have any suggestions on how I can get the liquid down in a timely fashion to get more ccs in my band. I only have 2 ccs to date. I think this will aid in my weightloss as I am not losing even one pound a week.
