Holy Cow!!!

Tomorrow is the big day! I feel like I've been getting ready for this day for so long and its finally here, its hard to believe. I'm strangely calm considering. Unfortunately I've gotten my monthly friend at the worst possible time and I think my focus is on the pain I'm in (can't take any ibuprofen--the ONLY thing that works for me) and I can't really focus on being nervous. I'm also ravenously hungry, having only eaten jello, apple juice, and a vitamin water so far today. Yay for pre-op clear liquid diet. I don't even like jello, haha. Anyways, I'm very excited and can't wait for tomorrow!

Oh, I went into surgery during my TOM. It was terrible, I was so nervous and worried that I was going to bleed all over everybody. Surprisingly, they let me continue to use a tampon, and when I got out of surgery, and was able to move around and walk, I was able to handle it like normal.

Congrats on the surgery! Let us know how youre doing.

I started my never-ending TOM a couple weeks pre-op. I didn't get to use a tampon, they just told me not to worry about it and I woke up with a pad taped to me (a monster pad) and lots of towels under me.

Not a biggie.

GOOD LUCK!!!! I was only scared right before surgery, but they give you the dope-you-up meds to make you loopy and then it's over before you know it (literally!).

Good luck tomorrow  I will probably have my TOM during the surgery time too since they are making me quit all the meds that regulate my cycle before surgery
