I had my tummy done (forgot the medical name) on Wed. March 26th in Goshen New York after loosing 115 pounds since August 206. I feel fine, but the drains are disgusting. Not such a bad surgery.

Warning this might well be TMI----but following my chemo, not a lot of pubic hair regrew--so he said my pubic hair line being nonexistant will allow him to make a smooth transition without much problem.

TMI continued ...

ummm yeah, one weird thing ... i now have some hair on my tummy ... not sure what im going to do about that ...

Tell 'em that's the new style.....belly buttons with beards!!!!

Sorry! Guess there was an advantage to all that hair loss besides not having to shave my legs anymore!!

I wish I would have known or thought about the the mons lift with my TT. Can they lipo that area????

i did have lipo there too ... fortunately didnt get the itchies there like i had in my back... that would have been annoying!

Or it could have been a more fun itch to scratch!!!!

I must have gotten a mons lift with my TT. I am awfully flat there, now. It was puffy before. I didn't ask for it (too embarrassed) but pretty sure I got it. That area looks a lot better for sure.

Lifting and smoothing of the pubic mound. My PS said to smooth and flatten the tummy and leave the poochy mound would disappoint me --- and that we would love the results of the lipo/lift. I said sure, ok---count me in!!!

Thank you for your words of inspiration. It makes sense what you say, but oh, the disappointment on the scale. I thought for sure it would go down as they cut out 5 pounds. Patience, patience.

We will all do well. Be well.

Thank you for your help. It is true, do not worry so much about the scale. I looked at my before pictures-uch-the stomach was so gross.Be well.

Not sure if I need that or not. I asked him the other day what exactly he thought I needed in addition to the tummy tuck and he said some lipo on my chin. Now this gets me wondering.

I had the surgery from one hip to the other in the front. I do not know if he did lipo as I did not know to ask him. He is a good surgeon, but is not very talkative or friendly. I am rather quiet and do not like to puch myself upon people of this nature. I lost 115 pounds and now weigh 174. I wish to loose more. Thank you and be well.
