sleep machine

:wink2:I had a sleep study done and I have sleep apnea, now I have to sleep with this machine that will be given to me next week which I must use every night for the next 5-6 wks before I can be scheduled for my surgery. I was also told that I will have to bring the machine to DR office so they can check to make sure I have been using it why ? Has anyone elese have to do this ?:smile:

No, I use the nose mask. I have a friend who was given the full face mask, but apparently, you have to be reall careful with it. I'm not sure why. Maybe because you're exhaling and then breathing it right back in? I don't remember what he said. But, he didn't use it for very long. I think he went to the nose pillows also.
