pains....

Anybody else experience random pains in the area where you figure the port is, and in the area where you figure the band is?

Nothing horrible, just enough to get your attention?

What's up with that?

I have as well. I associate it with probably nerve endings or something like that. I also try to remind myself that it can take a long time for internal things to heal (much longer than skin).

But yeah, it's like twinges. Nothing major but enough to get your attention.

Yeah. My port hurts sometimes when I do ab exercises. I can also feel my band sometimes. I get twinges on and off up under my left ribs. sometimes it just aches. Nothing horrible, just nagging and uncomfortable. It started out just being when I ate a good solid meal. Now it flares up whenever it feels like it. It's wierd. I asked my surgeon about it yesterday, and he said the fleeting, mild twinges were normal and mostly a mystery. He would be concerned if they were regular, long lasting and frequent. I'm 3 1/2 months out, so I guess I could still feasibly be healing. I just don't know.
