I just joined today this forum, after weeks of reading all the topic on here i have started my journey towards surgery...no date yet...but i have had the meeting and i have done my Psych Eval...(VERY LONG APPT). I am awaiting formal approval (my insurance has confirmed they cover it). I will keep everyone posted on my progress, but i wanted to join and say everyone seems so helpful and informative on here, I look foward to speaking with you all and helping me get through my journey towards surgery and a brighter future.

Good luck in your journey. It's exciting to imagine a smaller you isn't it? Have you looked at the before and after photo section? I find that particularly motivating!
