LAP Band AP?

Has anyone heard of this new and improved lap band or know if anyone is currently using it? I just saw the commercial for it today and googled it. Just wondering if anyone who is going to be banded in the near future has asked their surgeon about it.

Thanks.

There are different brands, so I'm not sure what commerical you saw.

I have the Allergan/Inamed AP 10 cc band. The new one has a scalloped design where the saline goes. The scallop design is supposed to reduce slipping problems.

There is also a J & J band called realize.
