Hello!

I'm Courtney aka Jakesmommy84. I'm 23, married, and we have one son who is 12 months and one dog.

I have had high blood pressure since I was 4 due to HUS/E.Coli, and have been overweight since childhood. I'm 235 right now and according to my family doctor i should be 125-135lb. I have an appt with a nephrologist and then back to my doctor to evaluate if I am a candidate for the lap band. I've done numerous diets, bike for 30-40 minutes a day and continue to have issues with weight. I've been told losing weight will help lower my blood pressure, which is a good thing! I'm rambling, so sorry.

I'm very interested in finding out of there are side effects. I've had experiences in the past with other internal devices..Mirena being one of them(8 month long period!).

Its great finding a site like this to find out additional information and support!
