I have a Headache!!!!

I started on Optifast on Tuesday Feb 19. On Saturday I had a migrane and on Sunday. This morning at 2am I woke up in pain, but luckily no migrane, just a bad headache, which really I don't think I ever have. Today I feel like someone punched me in the head. I already took two more tylenols this AM. My surgery is on next tuesday, and I am super excited.

Do you think it's the optifast? I live in Florida and the weather has been cooky lately, cool, hot, muggy rainy, do you think the weather?

HELP ME!!! I want to feel better. I can't even say that I have headach because I'm hungry, because when I have the headache's I'm not necessarily hungry at the time.

I must admit yesterday night was a big struggle as I was starving. But I had a "Slimfast Easy to Digest, Lactaid free" and a sugar free Jello. I did not cheat.

I just feel crummy and I'm at work and all I want to do is put my head on a pillow and close my eyes.

Thanks for hearing me.......ttfn...

Thank God, I feel better today......no headache so far. Feel refreshed. Don't know if it was food withdrawals, but I felt awful.

Thanks for all your support.

March 3, 2008 I have a date with Destiny. LOSERVILLE, here I come!!!

One more idea about what it might have been. Caffeine headaches are the worst-closest thing to migranes that I've ever had. If you quit pop or coffee, that might be it. Glad to hear you feel better. Whether it was blood sugar (another nasty feeling) or caffeine, apparently you have adjusted. Good luck!

Be careful about the amount of artificial sweeteners you are consuming, especially if you are not accustomed to using them. They are a major migraine trigger for me, right behind second-hand smoke and sulfites (like in red wine). Low pressure fronts also do me in, so if the weather is wacked, that could be contributing.

Just make sure you don't have a sinus infection, that could delay your surgery. You never want to have any surgery if you have any type of infection of course, but you did not mention any stuffiness or drainage so I hope that isn't the deal.

Good luck and welcome to the losers' club!

You are not alone. I am on day 6 of my optifast and I had super bad headaches for the first 4 days especially when I woke up. Are you taking b12? Yesterday and today have been much better... Are you allowed to take tylenol? Good luck, My date is 3/7 keep up the good work!!
