Getting banded on Monday 2/25!!

Hey there!

I thought it was great that there was a thread out there for people getting banded this month.

I am very excited about the surgery - but not sure what to expect, or how I will feel afterwards.

For anyone that has gotten banded already this month - how did you feel physically right after your surgery and the week following?

I would like to know what I am about to feel....:confused2:

Hey Austin

In my signature below there is a link to my blog. It will take you through my entire journey and everything I felt, etc. It will give you an idea of what to expect.

Good luck and welcome to the Double V's!

Hi Austin..

I'm 15 days post-op and feel fantastic. I had the typical gas discomfort for a couple days after surgery but that went away with walking and Gas X strips. One week of Clear liquids was a nusiance but now I've graduated to "mushies" and feel great!! I was physically and mentally ready for this journey. So, stick to your pre/post op diet and dr.'s instructions and embrace this wonderful gift we have given ourselves. You will do great!!

Good luck!!

I got my surgery yesterday - and just wanted to send thanks for all of your support!

If anyone out there knows if there is a liquid version of the calcium citrate though, I would love to find out!

Hate the lozenges by Bariatric Advantage:(

Thanks!
