pre-6 month diet valadtion

I am looking for a Dr. in Lincoln who can document the 6 month diet for insurance. I already did one 6 month diet that the Dr. did not document the way my surgeon needs.

What was wrong with the way your doctor did the documentation? Is there a form that you surgeons could have you doctor fill out? I had my surgery done in Omaha and don't know any from Lincoln, hope you can get this fixed. I know that you must be frustrated.

Not the way your surgeon wants it or the insurance?

I have to ask that my Doc write SPECIFICS on the progress notes. She nods and then I day, PLEASE, please write down that I am on a low fat/low cal diet and that we discussed exercise and record the weight.

I actually hover until I see her write it.

I'm not doing this #$^ for 6 months to have a denial waiting for because of wording.

Whether it is your surgeon or Ins. ask if you can have a note placed in your record with any other info they might need.

If you were on a 6 month with your doc, what was it they still needed?

This infuriates me as they don't understand what a setback a few words can cause.
