Stalled??

I have a question. I was banded on 12/21. To date i have lost about 42lbs. I can tell that my clothes are getting bigger and bigger each week, but I have not lost much weight over the last month. Maybe 4 lbs at the most. My body is getting smaller but the weight isn't coming off. Seems Odd!

I have read through the posts and expected the stall in weight loss. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

I kinda went through the same thing at about the same time frame after surgery. Just keep doing the right thing, and it will start moving again .. . I HATE waiting .. . I want to see results every day lol Hang in there . . you're doing GREAT!

I kinda hit that same plateau, but was able to get a small fill and get things moving again. I dropped about 30 lbs in the first 3 weeks and then nothing for a few weeks. Happy to say the scale is moving again!

I'm stuck for sure, been messing around with the same 4 lbs for over a month. I did get my 2nd fill Monday, and with the liquid/soft foods diet I'm down another 7 lbs, but who knows how much of that will stick once I go back to solid foods. I know that I need to up my exercise, and I really need to start journaling what I'm eating every day and make changes as I find them. I am eating way less then pre-surgery, but I think my stall is due to things I need to change, combined with my body freaking out. I "feel" I'm losing inches, but unfortunately I didnt measure myself before surgery, so other then some clothing items being a bit looser, I dont have the actual numbers to back it up.

Hang in there!

Tina

when i find a week where i hit a plateau i increase my calories from 1000 to 1200 for a couple of days then i go back down to 1000 calories It seems like it gives the body a shock and says start losing again. and it usually works. ive only hit one plateau so far since being banded on 12-12-07. and if i feel im eating more than i should i just ask for a fill . ive had 2 fills so far since banding and right now its working for me im down 58 pounds so far so i hope it keeps going this well. hope things look up for you guys!
