It should be fine, unless you are diabetic or have other glucose intolerance. If so, check with your doctor.

I tried them during my liquid phase but could not stand the taste. The brand I used was Special K.

My doctor said they were fine. But I used (and still do), Isopure carb free. No sugar, no carbs. 160 cal and 40 g protein per bottle. A little spendy, but when you need the protein it is worth it. I like Icey Orange - in the freezer for about 90 min - open it up and it turns slushy. Although sometimes since my 3rd fill I can't do slushy. I usually only use it now after my elliptical.
