Hey RI Banisters -

I was unable to find a Dr. in RI to do the procedure so I opted for a DR. CT. His name is Dr. Enrich. I was looking for a support group that I can attend in RI but only found one at RI hospital that meets once a month? does anyone know of any others?

I am schedualed to have surgery on Feb 26th! I am so excited! Did any of you have to do a 12 opti fast before surgery? I do, I haven't had my pre-op appointment yet so I have to ask them.

There is also a group at Miriam Hospital, meets once a month a different day. I have been to the one at RIH a couple times. The thing is it is almost all bypass (RNY) patients. Only 1 or 2 other band patients. I find this web site more helpful and supportive.
