ok my belly is making noises like crazy. girgling/rumbling like i'm hungry or i have gas but i'm not hungry. my mind is though. i finally understand the difference. i'm sure its normal but just curious what you all have experienced when you were in your early stages of banding. kind of feels full, but not sure if thats pain/gas/ or hunger.?????:confused2:

I was just banded 2 weeks ago today and people keep asking me if I am hungry and I still say "I'm not sure?" I think my brain needed as much surgery as my stomach! But I am always rumbling and grumbling I don't know why.

I think this is normal. I was banded on 1/28 and a couple days later, my belly started sounding like the L.A. Harbor. I figured it was my insides waking up. It wasn't painful, but just uncomfortable. I also think that your stomach is probably now noticing that it doesn't have much in it, and is letting you know accordingly.

I know you've probably heard this a ton of times, but walking around helped. I found that after walking for about ten minutes, things seemed to calm down. I am a true believer in the power of a ten minute walk -- it has helped me enormously.

Take care!

I've been havin the same issue. I got banded on the 30th..maybe we are detoxing or something. I think my body is going thru withdrawals

I was just banded on 2/4. Lots of rumbling but I am sure it is the gas. Not even a little hungry. Off most of my meds. Yeah!!!
